Fall – Beginnings and Endings

Fall can be a time of beginnings or endings depending on how you look at it.  The leaves fall from the trees, flowers go to seed, and summer clothes get packed away.

School years begin and people set new goals of learning and doing as they prepare for winter, that wonderful time of hibernation.

Each ending brings a new beginning.  The end of the milkweed, brought this tiny fluffy seed held by my Dad (what a trooper!).  Once he lets it go, it will become windborne and won’t be seen again until spring, when this seed will take root and grow into its own milkweed.  And, so, even endings can hold the potential of a whole new life, and a whole new beginning.

So here’s hoping that you “go to seed” well and that each scattered seed reaches its full potential.
