My Santa List

I have a Santa List.  I admit it.  I do.  Do you?  What’s on it?

On mine?  Well, not much that’s material.  OK, sure I want a new top of the line camera and a new computer tower and a new tub surround.  You know, the big ticket items!

But, also on my Santa list?  Well, first, a full time job.  But also, I would love a solid dose of self-discipline.  The things I could do with that!!  The money I would save!  The weight I would lose!  The things I would accomplish!!

So, if you’re wondering what to get me for Christmas, give me some self-discipline.  Not sure how you’ll accomplish that little feat, but maybe you know a secret I don’t!

What non-material things do you want for Christmas?

  1. i'm w/ you…i could really use some self-discipline. i would also like to remember to ask for some help-discipline when times are rough. to my list i would like to add health and happiness for my family, friends, and myself.

    question…does a back-rub count as material or non? 😉

  2. Ooo! I like that. Help-discipline, for the times when we try to go it alone when it would be so much easier, better, pleasant with help. And, yes, of course! Health and happiness, and maybe a little bit of money, for my friends, family and self. I add money since I know a few who are currently without heat and money would sure help. And backrubs, they totally fit non-material and for you they contribute to health. If I had enough money to fund it, you'd have a back rub every single day by a professional masseuse (and maybe a handsome one!)
