Guest Post: Hearing God’s Voice

I recently wrote a guest post over on Michelle Fitzgerald’s blog, The Mimosa Blossom.  It was such an honor to write this piece for her blog.  Michelle and I “met” during a back to school on-line book party where I featured my book, Meeting God through Art: Visio Divina.  Her blog features many book reviews (including one for me!) but also lots of pieces about drawing nearer to God.

We all long to hear God speak to us.  He’s actually speaking all the time, we just haven’t necessarily learned to hear Him.  Sometimes we’re too busy in our own mind and our thoughts drown out His voice.  Sometimes we just don’t understand the “language” He is speaking in or haven’t tuned in.
