Embrace Your Path

You may not yet know what your path is.  At least you my doubt yourself.  Or perhaps, there’s so much noise in your head, that you can’t hear the still small voice of your soul telling you which path to take.  But, then, you might know and might simply be afraid to move forward.

Listen to that voice.  He knows what He’s talking about.  Take your time, but in the end, embrace your path.  It will make all the difference.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

  1. I see this *every* *single* *day* at work. So many of my students try to jam themselves onto paths for the wrong reasons. And when the path turns out to be awful, they resist the voice that is clearly saying, "find the right path". I know I've done this myself, and I know how important it is to sometimes just sit quietly, and listen. Listen and let yourself be guided to the right path without resisting. Of course, easier said than done. 🙂
