Writing * Photography * Contemplation

Moment by Moment

The pictures I’m about to post aren’t fantastic.  They aren’t meant to be.  They were shot this morning through my window before I even had a cup of coffee.  But, I took one look at the sunrise I was witnessing and grabbed my point and shoot.  Sometimes you just need to capture the moment.

I snapped the first shot and looked at it in the preview window of my camera.

Then I looked up and the sky had changed!
I downloaded the two images on my computer. And then, I looked again and quickly disconnected the camera from the computer and shot this one.

So, not great photographs, but you can see the beauty of the sky and how it changed.  These three images were taken within 9 minutes of each other.  Sometimes, you have to work quickly as the light is changing rapidly.

So, seize the moment….and the next…and the next.  Each one as precious as the first and altogether different.
